SO UNFORTUNATELY, BECAUSE OF THAT, WE'RE RECOMMENDING THE TOWN BOARD REJECT ALL BIDS.
WE HAVE SINCE THAT TIME WORKED WITH OUR ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER, CARMINA WOOD.
AND UNFORTUNATELY, SOMETHING HAPPENED IN THAT TIME WHERE THEY DID NOT SPEAKING WITH THEM.
AND BASED ON THE BUILDING VENDORS, THE CONCERN WAS THAT BECAUSE THE BUILDING IS THAT PRE-ENGINEERED POST-FRAME MANUFACTURED BUILDING, THAT BY THE TIME IT WOULD GET MANUFACTURED AND BROUGHT TO THE SITE, IT WOULD NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO DO ALL THE REST OF THE WORK ASSOCIATED.
THE RECOMMENDATION IS THAT WE GET A MOVE IN BUILDING BY DECEMBER 1ST OF 2026.
AND THEN ALLOW THEM UNTIL THE SPRING. SO JUNE 1ST TO DO PUNCH LIST AND FINAL ITEMS AROUND THE SITE.
THIS INCLUDES GRASS GROWING IN AND MAYBE SOME STRIPING, YOU KNOW, THINGS THAT DO NOT AFFECT THE OPENING OF THE BUILDING AND THE OPERATION AND TURNING IT INTO A A PUBLIC RUNNING FACILITY. WE'VE ALSO HAD CONVERSATION WITH OUR ARCHITECT ABOUT SORT OF A FANCIER ROOF FEATURE THAT WAS ALONG THE ROOFS. WE HAD ONE BUILDING MANUFACTURER THAT SAID THAT THAT WAS NOT REALLY SOMETHING THEY TYPICALLY DID, AND IT WOULD AFFECT BOTH THEIR COST, THEIR TIMELINES, AS WELL AS THEIR WARRANTY. SO THEY ENDED UP NOT BIDDING FOR THAT REASON.
SO A ROOF IS BETTER FOR THE SNOW. TRUE, TRUE.

AND THEN THE ONLY OTHER ONE IS, YOU KNOW, SOMEBODY'S UNCLE JOE HAS A FOOD TRUCK THAT THEY WANT TO BRING, YOU KNOW, THINGS LIKE THAT. I DON'T MIND PEOPLE BRINGING THEM, ESPECIALLY IF THEY'RE ONES, LIKE I SAID, THAT WE KNOW AND THAT WE'VE DEALT WITH.
